Members and guests gather together monthly (except for the Summer months) to discuss issues and ideas that could benefit our community.
We organize and host a community breakfast and program on MLK Day every January to raise awareness, celebrate diversity, create bonds of friendship, and resist systemic racism.
We assemble and distribute resources to neighbors in our community who have critical needs in housing, healthcare, clothing, transportation, or sustenance.
When important issues arise, we combine our perspectives into statements and actions intended to change systems and improve people's lives.
Each year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we gather a diverse collection of clergy to lead us in an Interfaith Thanksgiving Worship service.
We nominate and elect officers and board members from our body to keep us organized and engaged, and to insure we are good stewards of our time and resources.
If you are new to CVMA, welcome! We'd love to have you jump in and learn more. You can add yourself to our list, contribute your "annual dues", or give extra to support our cause. Thanks for visiting today!
